Dr. Kathy J. Siesel serves as an associate professor and a doctor of podiatric medicine at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio. The renowned podiatry school is known for educating students on podiatric practices and training them to become skilled practitioners of podiatric medicine. In her capacity, Dr. Siesel specializes in clinical biomechanics of the lower extremities and gait analysis.
Dr. Siesel is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. She received a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Bowling Green State University. She also earned a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the private, nonprofit, four-year graduate level medical college for which she currently provides her services as associate professor. Dr. Siesel teaches in the basic science, podiatric medicine and biomechanics/orthopedics departments, as well as in the clinical setting. She is an expert in podiatric biomechanics, podiatric sports medicine and podiatric pediatrics.
